Okay, so maybe there’s a reason I shouldn’t be anywhere near my computer when I have a vodka and cranberry in hand (the original plan was to mix it with lemonade, but… my daughter made the lemonade and it tastes a little like swamp water. Ocean Spray made the cranberry juice, so I know that’s all good). I’m online right now, doing major blasts from the past music wise. Don McLean, Jackson 5, Hall & Oates, aw yeah.

I survived my first day with my MH “in tha houuuuuuuuuuuse”. Except, well. I got a little hungry. In my efforts to avoid coming out of the office, I maybe sorta didn’t really want to get to the kitchen to grab food. I’m running on soup, some peanut butter toast, and a desperate handful of almonds. Oh, and now? Absolut. Really brilliant, no? I did spend some time thinking about cheesecake, so, I think maybe that counts.

Yesterday I asked for blogging ideas and music recommendations, and it was awesome for those of you who responded to tell me what’s in your ear these days. Please keep that stuff coming. I’m an iTunes whore and am always downloading stuff. It’s probably the only area in which I’m impulsive which explains why last month I downloaded George Michael’s “Father Figure” after seeing him on American Idol before remembering after a few listens just how much that song skeeves me out. Any man that tells me, “I’ll be your daddy” is a man who is NOT ever going to see me naked.

Speaking of naked (like how I did that?), a photograph of my abs was requested yesterday. Um, yeah. I think I should have a few more drinks, and maybe get nice and bloated before I take it and post it for the internet at large. What do you think? That would be hott, no? It’s not totally off the table, but, CC, it won’t be today.
